QOL Mods
A downloadable mod
Game: https://erodungeons.itch.io/ero-dungeons
A small collection of QOL mods that I've found make the game less frustrating and more enjoyable. Use em or don't, I hope you like em!
Headstart
This mod adds a handful of destiny options that can help you get into a new game much faster. If you're like me, you've been restarting over and over as the game reworks and adds stuff, and you have a tidy little nest of destiny points, but nothing to spend them on. Now, get right into the meat of the game and skip the first grindy steps!
Options for starting with extra money, mana, and favor, starting with a ton of random items, and giving your new adventurers free XP from the stagecoach. Also a small option to lower the kidnap chances just a bit, if you want that too.
Since these are destiny options, you'll have to start a new game to use them.
Gun
Have you ever been in a fight that just dragged on and on? Ever fought a cheap enemy and got really frustrated with the game? Ever groan whenever you see a particular enemy or encounter, cuz you kknow you never have fun fighting them? Now, just pull out your Gun and blow them away!
This mod adds a combat morale option for just 1 morale, which lets you use an incredibly strong move to blow away one pesky enemy. The only way I could get it to work is: it gives you a token, then you do your move for the turn, then it'll allow you to use the Gun move on whichever enemy you need.
Personally, there are some encounters and situations where I just get fed up with the game, so this helps smooth things out sometimes. I hope it helps you too!
Less Frequent Stuns
Have you ever had a fight where every one of your characters gets stunned over and over and over? Every have REALLY bad luck, and lose more than half of your actions? Well, hopefully this mod can help you claw back some of your turns!
Simply, whenever one of your characters has their turn skipped due to a stun, they get a Focus token for 2 turns, which prevents them from getting stunned again. That's all this mod does.
Now, this only works with the stun token, not any other effect that can cause you to lose a turn, like orgasm, molest, strip, smell flower, being moved out of position, etc. Also, it's likely there's some item or move or combo that becomes OP when you can't get stunned as a drawback. So, either just.... don't use this mod if that bothers you, or just don't use that broken combo, or do, and have fun with it! Play your way!
Better Level Goals
Very similar to Hevensdragon's "RPG Style Levelling" mod, or his "Refined Leveling" mod, check those mods out too!
I don't know about you, but I love to have a massive guild. I can barely contain myself at about 60 characters! But, levelling everyone up quickly becomes an absolute chore! There are a lot of level goals in the original game that are just annoying to do, or easy to forget, or rely completely on RNG! (Kill parasites? How many dungeons have you gone through and seen ZERO parasites?)
This mod removes about half of the game's original level goals, adds in a handful more, and changes most of what's left to be much more lenient. Now, goals should force you to change up your strategy every now and then, or give you chances to allow bad things to happen to your characters, and occasionally give you some freebies. Overall, levelling will be much quicker and smoother! You may still have to reroll occasionally, but much less often than before!
Super Capstones
Very similar to the mod "Cross-Class Skills" by Philstar and Cheris and Darigaaz. Check that mod out too! But, this it my own take on it!
Do you feel like getting the capstone/permanent abilities for each class is, well, barely worth it? Just a few hitpoints and a single stat point? Once you change classes, they're basically starting over as a complete newb again... Well, not any more!
This modd changes the capstone ability for every class, so that, on top of the health and stat, each class gets two unique buffs that stick with the character forever! AND, they get access to one of the core moves from that class, opening up new options and builds, and retaining a ton of flavor from jobs they've mastered! See the screenshots for what every class gets!
Oh, and I included optional files you can use if you use any of my class mods (Druid, Spellsword, the brand new Latex Drone), and also Pointyyou's excellent Bard class mod! If you also use any of those, just enable the extra files with the right names as well! (These are just the mods I use in my playthrough; if you want versions for more classes, honestly, it's SUPER easy to make them! I'd encourage you to make your own!)
